About NINLCA
NINLCA provides an opportunity for networking among Lactation Consultants and anyone else who promotes and supports breastfeeding. NINLCA is an affiliate of the United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA).
Purpose (formed in 1988)
- Promote breastfeeding in Northern Indiana and improve visibility of Lactation Consultants.
- Improve skills through communication, networking, and education relevant to lactation.
- Enhance USLCA growth by supporting a local affiliate and holding regular meetings.

Anyone dedicated to promoting, protecting, and supporting breastfeeding — including lactation consultants, dietitians, breastfeeding counselors, childbirth educators, physicians, nurses, midwives, doulas, and more.
